Home may be where the heart is, but your decor could be scaring off Mr. Right, according to a relationship expert.
Dana Kuritzkes posted a video on TikTok detailing her list of the most common man-repelling home decorations.
“Have you ever wondered what items in your place just give men the ick? Well today I’m gonna tell you,” Kuritzkes said in the video.
Warning video contains graphic language
“Here are the most cringe-worthy items you have in your house, according to men,” she said.
Crystals
Kuritzkes doesn’t need a crystal ball to tell her some men are turned off by crystals. So, those looking to get their rocks off might want to ditch their geodes beforehand.

Stuffed animals
Next on Kuritzkes’ list of man-repellers are stuffed animals.
While the stuffed toy popular with kids might have “sentimental” value, they could be holding you back from finding more animate friends.

Dream catchers
Another no-no for men is dream catchers, according to Kuritzkes.
In addition to keeping nightmares away, the popular bedroom adornment could also be scaring off potential mates.
Snow globes
It could be a cold and lonely winter for those who have lots of snow globes.
“Snow globes are sweet nostalgic items to collect when you were a child, “ said Kuritzkes.
“But if you still held on to them as an adult it might be time for us to talk about your attachment issues,” she quipped.
Curling irons left in the sink
Leaving a curling iron in your sink could make men recoil.
Kuritzkes is guilty of this man-repelling act and shared a reference photo of her own bathroom.
‘Live, laugh, love’ signs
Living, laughing, and loving might be a solo activity thanks to these popular bedroom signs.
Kuritzkes jokingly shared a photo of a sign she has in her own room that reads, “Yesterday I really wanted tacos. Today I am eating tacos. Follow your f—-ing dreams.”
“I should probably take that down,” she told her TikTok followers.

Framed photos of yourself
Men have a few hang-ups about women who frame photos of themselves and hang them up on the wall.
“I’m all about self-love but that’s a lot even for me,” Kuritzkes said.

Disney memorabilia
It’s a small world after all, and it could seem even smaller if your Disney collection is the only thing keeping you company.
“I’m sorry I can’t back you guys here,” Kuritzkes said.
“I know I’m in the minority, people stand by Disney, but show me an episode of hoarders where there wasn’t a Mickey Mouse pillow in the corner somewhere.”
